UpcomingCountway Library Exhibit and Symposium:“Sages, Scholars, and Healers: Judaica from the Solomon M. Hyams Collection of the Boston Medical Library” Wednesday, March 1Speakers:

The Countway Library will be hosting a one-day symposium and exhibit on the
role of Jews in the history of medicine. The exhibit will be on view all day
at the library’s first floor, a reception will be held at 5 p.m. Symposium
lectures by five internationally recognized and renowned scholars in medieval
history and Jewish studies will be held from 10 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. The complete
list of speakers and lecture topics can be found in the symposium
program. Registration is
required—sign up for any single lecture or morning/afternoon sessions
by e-mailing rvogel@hms.harvard.edu.
