“Advanced Technologies in the Neurosciences, Translational Research, and Health Policy”

The ATNS conference will address the cross-disciplinary implementation of bringing a scientific idea-specifically in the neurosciences-from a concept to clinical usage. This conference, with a faculty of intellectual leaders, will highlight many of the most important frontier areas in the neurosciences, including the scientific verification process, entrepreneurship, intellectual property rights, funding mechanisms, conflict of interest issues, and the role of national science policy in facilitating these activities. Attendance for this event is limited. The conference is designed for neuroscientists, clinicians, medical school and foundation decision makers, industry representatives involved with devices and pharma, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs, and regional and national health policy specialists. The registration fee is $1,800. Graduate students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty: Due to educational grant support, the registration fee has been reduced substantially to $300.
