From Focus: Julia Wang and colleagues have created a vaccine that delivers a powerful one-two punch to anthrax. The new method prods the immune system to attack both the anthrax bacterium and its toxins. The researchers say it promises not only improved protection for uninfected people, but also more effective treatment for those already suffering from infection.
