Focus: Infection of children and loss of parents are two of the dire consequences of the AIDS epidemic in Africa. At a November AIDS conference at the Harvard School of Public Health, former Zambian president Kenneth Kaunda warned that children must be at the center of prevention efforts. Speakers from HMS and HSPH discussed partnerships for AIDS research and patient care between Harvard and several African countries. |
