Findings from neuroscience and cognitive psychology together have implications for medical training, widely recognized as an intense, stressful experience. The work of these four renowned scientists, including both brain research and cognitive psychology, focuses on learning in normal humans. The symposium includes formal presentations as well as discussions about the relationship between research on learning and how medical training is, or should be, conducted.

This event is sponsored by the Office of Educational Development, Program in Medical Education, and the Academy at Harvard Medical School.
