The Benefits of Mentoring for Mentors

Howard Hiatt will keynote this year's Mentoring Awards ceremony. Hiatt, an HMS professor of medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, will speak about the benefits mentors receive from mentoring. Following his talk, the awards will be presented.
The William Silen Lifetime Achievement in Mentoring Award will be presented to Elio Raviola, the Bullard professor of neurobiology at HMS. Recipients of this year's A. Clifford Barger Excellence in Mentoring Award will be Gary Fleisher, HMS professor of pediatrics at Children's Hospital; J. Philip Kistler, HMS professor of neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital; Isaac Kohane, HMS associate professor of pediatrics at Children's; Marie McCormick, HMS professor of pediatrics at Children's; and Ellen Seely, HMS associate professor of medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
