Portraits of HMS Women Leaders Unveiled
Five portraits of women faculty leaders were added this month to the others that hang in the faculty room in Gordon Hall. The event commemorated the first time women have been included among these portraits. The honorees were Mary Ellen Avery, Elizabeth Hay, Shirley Driscoll, Lynne Reid (all shown above), and Grete Bibring.

Treating Patients One at a Time
Since many people are having trouble affording the medications they should take, it is tempting to consider how doctors might put prescriptions into priority to identify the one best drug for an entire population. But Sean Amos thinks that keying in on the individual patient rather than the single drug is a better way to go.
