This colloquium speaks to burning current issues: dealing with population groups and cultures in a varied world and the particular responsibility of medicine and the healing professions. How do we, as healers, deal with those foreign to us and how do we deal with our own cultural prejudices?
The Colloquium on the History of Psychiatry and Medicine allows practicing clinicians and researchers to see their work in a historical perspective.
