The 27th annual Joseph Garland lecture will be delivered by Jeffrey Drazen, editor in chief of The New England Journal of Medicine, and Joseph Garland, an author and journalist, whose father served as editor of The New England Journal of Medicine from 1947 to 1967 and for whom the lecture series is named.
The lecture is sponsored by the Boston Medical Library in the Countway Library of Medicine.
