City, Community, and University Dignitaries Pitch in at Groundbreaking for New Research Building
On Feb. 1, Boston Mayor Thomas Menino joined other leaders from the city, the University and Medical School, and the surrounding community for the ceremonial groundbreaking that marked the start of construction on HMS's new research building. Work crews began in December to prepare the site for the $250 million facility, which will anchor the campus's new North Quad.
