Focus:
Surprise Route Found for Breast Cancer Spread

Breast cancer tumors may execute their spread to the lymph nodes via lymphatic vessels cultivated by the tumors themselves. The finding was reported by Michael Detmar and colleagues, who say this is probably one of several ways for the cancer to metastasize.
