Martin Convenes Leaders of Top Schools to Consider Conflict of Interest Policies

In a November meeting called by Medical Dean Joseph Martin, a group of 17 senior leaders in academic medicine brought a national focus to conflict of interest issues. The goal was to begin forging a general consensus on ways to limit the conflicts that arise from industry support of academic research.
