Quad Milestones![]() Carla Shatz, the Nathan Marsh Pusey professor and head of the Department of Neurobiology, hosted a tea in honor of the 20th anniversary of David Hubel receiving the Nobel Prize. Hubel, an HMS research professor of neurobiology, became a Nobel laureate in 1981 with Torsten Wiesel for their discoveries concerning information processing in the visual system. They shared the prize with Roger Sperry for his discoveries concerning the functional specialization of the cerebral hemispheres. Photos by Steve Gilbert An open house was held Dec. 13 to welcome students to the new space on the third floor of Gordon Hall for the offices of Students Affairs, Recruitment and Multicultural Affairs, and Enrichment Programs.
