White Coat Ceremony 2000![]() Daniel Lowenstein, dean for medical eduction A traditional white coat ceremony took place on August 31 this year in each student society. Donning a white coat is a rite of passage for incoming students, allowing them to dress the part of a doctor as they begin learning to become one. Shown are Daniel Lowenstein (above), dean for medical education, and Joseph Martin (below), dean of the Faculty of Medicine, as they address the new first-year class. Follow links to the societies at left for more photos of White Coat Day, and note that we will be adding to these images during the week. So be sure to come back.
