Students Find Way to Waltz Through Med School—to Tango, Too

What do medical students do to relax? Many of them are avid dancers, according to Catherine Chu. Dance is a total change of pace. It's great exercise and a wonderful way to connect to other people. One student has even started a hip-hop class for fellow medical and dental students.

New Journal Based at Brigham & Women's Hospital

genomics Physiological Genomics is a new journal sponsored by the American Physiological Society which has editorial offices at Brigham and Women's Hospital and whose editor in chief is HMS professor Victor Dzau, head of the Department of Medicine at the hospital. The journal fosters research in biomedicine capitalizing on genomics technology and the Human Genome Project. Submissions can be received and reviewed through the on-line version of the journal, which is free to access until February.
