Cell Signaling: The Inside Story on MAP Kinases

Research by Bee-Na Lee, Sanjoy Mahanty, and Elaine Elion (l to r) has revealed that the MAP kinases, a family of enzymes, help relay signals from inside as well as outside the cell. Their work also suggests a cellular system for storing these messengers for multiple uses.
